The SHRPA Methodology
Life-changing habits require the Study-Plan-Act-Reflect framework.
Our 30-day habit development course focuses on each aspect of the framework to ensure you build healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Study
To conquer a mountain one must mentally prepare.
Habits require an intensive shift in perspective. Week 1 consists of learning how to personally investigate what you really want in life.Plan
Every mountain has an ideal route to the summit.
Habits need consistency. In week 2 you will learn how to manage your time and seamlessly integrate new habits into your schedule.Act
Climbing a mountain will only happen one step at a time.
Habits are nothing without taking action. Week 3 will help you shift your focus from “end results” to “daily actions.”Reflect
Every mountain climber needs a team’s support
Habits thrive with community. In week 4, you’ll practice reflecting and receiving feedback from other Climbrs.Meet your Shrpas
Declan Wilson
Declan has worked on countless side projects outside of his regular 9-to-5 corporate job which have led him to accomplish his biggest goal to date: leave his full-time job to pursue his own passions in life.
If Declan has a goal, he strategically goes after it, and achieves it.
On top of executing his goals, Declan possesses interpersonal skills needed to help others achieve their goals. He’s an excellent listener and asks tough questions to help his clients grow. He’s a strong group discussion facilitator and is well-known for his brainstorming and planning sessions.
Declan has a strong writing, entrepreneurial, occupational, and creative background. In his spare time, Declan loves to take long walks with his wife and toddler son, dive into a good book, or cheer on his Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates.
Adam Lugsch-Tehle
Hailing from “the tundra” of the Upper Midwest in the United States (i.e. Fargo, ND, USA...and, yes, he has seen the movie), Adam has had the great fortune of serving alongside amazing professionals and friends who are making a big difference in the world.
An educator at heart, Adam believes in the inherent nobility of every human being. He connects quickly and deeply with individuals, communities, and institutions.
In short, Adam seeks to accompany people on their journey towards reaching their highest potential by building within them the requisite skills and abilities to holistically and coherently overcome any obstacle on their path.
In his spare time, Adam enjoys empowering the youth of our society. He enjoys sports (perhaps to a fault), is an avid music enthusiast, and loves to travel. He and his wife, Lindsey, currently reside in Louisville, KY.

Testimonials
Tim W. - writer and blogger
"I knew I had experiences and perspectives I wanted to share. However, two things were missing and held my writing back. First, a belief in myself and second, a routine I could rely on to produce my blog.
"After hearing Declan on a podcast, I immediately signed up for the Habit Development Course. Each week I acquired a better understanding of myself and the requirements to develop my habit. With the support of the other climbers and our wonderful Shrpas, I mastered a new daily writing habit.
"After four weeks, I am more confident sharing my experiences and perspectives on my blog. I now have a solid foundation to maintain my new daily writing habit and develop new habits in the future. SHRPA has given me tools to last a lifetime."
Erin D. - Yoga and wellness enthusiast
"My experience through SHRPA has been terrific. Declan and Adam are champs and very knowledgeable on how to help Climbrs identify a habit and go through the process to establish the habit as part of a routine.
"I personally excelled by making a breakthrough on the process of establishing a habit by working through frustrations of not getting my habit into routine until the end of week 2, beginning of week 3, because I realized that's exactly where I needed to be (as part of the program). I think understanding the expectations of each week/step is helpful for climbrs.
"Personally, my habit was to bring meditation/yoga into my daily routine. Once my habit kicked in, I began noticing my mind calming and my heart open up.
"I'm now eager to reflect on what has worked from my habit and look forward to applying this practice to future habits I'd like to form."
Adam L. - social entrepreneur
"Having engaged in the SHRPA experience, I am more focused, grounded, and purposeful. Through taking systematic, practical steps the circumstances of my life have drastically changed and improved, resulting in calm determination and a fresh motivation to reach my highest potential and serve more deeply from my core."
Rebecca Z. - freelancer
"Joining SHRPA inspired me to take intentional steps towards healthier eating and healthier living.
"In conjunction to the SHRPA experience, I’ve committed to the Whole 30, a 30-day eating experience where I follow a strict sweet-, grain-, gluten-, dairy-, legume-free diet in order to understand exactly how those foods might affect me when ingested. It’s also a time to let my body heal and start to develop new, mindful — or conscious — habits in relation to food."
Randy C. - cyclist
"After joining SHRPA, I can tell you the experience has been an awakening. I got involved because I felt as an avid cyclist I was having trouble maintaining my focus. Working with Declan, Adam and my entire climbing group, not only have I been able to get back on track, I think it is safe to say I am sharper then ever.
"Through their daily interactions and group questions they caused me to think, to reach inside myself and find the issues that were pulling me off course and distracting. I came to improve myself as a cyclist, I left as a much stronger and better balanced person then I have been in years.
"The online group interaction sometimes forces you to see and come face to face with demons you would prefer not to deal with. In the end has it been worth it, yes. Has it helped me? ABSOLUTELY!"
Frequently Asked Questions
How does SHRPA work?
At SHRPA, we combat all the barriers that prevent you from hitting your goals. We first build out your daily habits before immersing you in a community of driven individuals and pairing you with your own personal Shrpa to help you track your goals.
When do the Xpeditions take place?
Xpeditions begin on the first Monday of the month.
You say you'll help me accomplish any goal. Is that true or are there things you won't do?
There are in fact a few things that we can’t help you with:
-Starting/ending a romantic relationship
-Anything illegal
-Anything morally questionable
-Anything to do with politics
-Getting accepted to Hogwarts
Do I need to know what goals I want to accomplish before joining?
You don’t have to, but it’d help you propel yourself forward if you knew your personal goals and focus ahead of time. However, SHRPA is structured in a way that you can join before even understanding what your personal ‘mountain’ or goal is.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone in trying to figure things out.
What if the membership pricing goes up?
The price you sign up for will be the price you pay. Any possible increase in the future won’t affect you as long as you retain your membership with SHRPA.
